JOYN is a unique handmade lamp made from coconut palm leaf stalk in collaborating with the local community in Samut Songkhram, Thailand which is known for coconut agriculture, coconut leaf weaving skills and traditional floating market.
JOYN is inspired by traditional weaving technique, aim to enhance the beauty of woven craft combine with contemporary design.
There are two different shapes and sizes of lamps that can be customised by stacking together or arranging in a different angle to create a new possibility of design that can fit in each variety context.
The name Joyn is come from the combination of two words, "Joy" and "Join". It is the name that reflects the meaning of the community collaboration and the joyful of the way people are living with nature.
